Who we are

Old-school Ford,
done properly

FordMax is what happens when a lifetime spent around fast Fords turns into a business — rare spares, straight-talking sales, and skill-based competitions that put proper retro metal back where it belongs.

The story

From driveway to draw night

We grew up around 80s and 90s fast Fords. XR2s on the driveway, Cosworth posters on the bedroom wall, and the sound of a CVH on full song echoing round the estate. Some people grow out of it. We didn't.

Years of breaking, restoring and daily-driving these cars taught us two things: which parts fail, and how hard they are to find when they do. The retrospares pile started as a shelf in the garage. Then a lock-up. Then it got serious, and FordMax was born.

The competitions came next. Prices on good retro Fords have gone silly, and too many of the best cars end up locked away as investments. Running skill-based draws lets us put real, sorted cars back on the road — and into the hands of the people who'll actually drive them.

As for the look: everything here is black and white because the cars do the talking. No neon, no nonsense, no fine-print games. Just old-school Fords and old-school honesty.

The short version

What we're about

Straight-up draws

Fixed ticket counts, published draw dates, a real skill question and a free postal route. Streamed live, every time.

Cars over hype

The prize is the point. Honest cars, honestly described — no glitter, no small print doing the heavy lifting.

Parts kept alive

Rare spares rescued, catalogued and passed on to the cars that need them — not left to rot in a field.

Scene first

Shows, meets, the winners wall — we're part of the retro Ford scene, not a company circling it.
